Woodland Adventurers® At Your School
Woodland Adventurers® runs group sessions for children at local schools in Wiltshire, Somerset, and Gloucestershire; activities are possible further afield - just let us know your details and we will let you know if we are able to assist. Topics covered can include Forest School, Survival, Team Building, Campfire Cooking, Woodcrafts, Art & Sculpture, EYFS and Map Reading & Navigation.
Outdoor activities for children on your school premises typically run from 10am to 2pm although flexibility can be discussed to suit your school day. Prices start from £395 depending on sizes of groups and activities (i.e. our staffing needs), plus travel costs of £1 per mile from SN13 0NS (one direction) as per google maps.
The school is responsible for providing adult:child ratios according to statutory childcare regulations and to suit individual needs of children including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
In addition, whether locally or further afield, we can travel to your site to deliver training courses and CPD courses for teaching staff. We can also support you to effectively use your outdoor space and in designing / developing your outdoor space to support child-led learning through natural play.

Our outdoor activities, by definition, are outdoors! Trees and tarps provide some level of shelter from rain, but generally if it rains we will get wet! It is absolutely essential that all visitors (both children and accompanying grown-ups) come with the right clothing, meaning lots of layers, waterproofs and sturdy footwear (and in the warmer months sun hats and sun cream) as well as a "can do" and "up for it" attitude to maximising the outdoor experiences for all, especially the children.
