Saturday 14th December 2019
Each session lasts up to one hour. Our Quarry Hill, Box, Corsham site is a woodland with many trees that are exposed to nature. Trees provide some level of shelter from rain, but generally if it rains we will get wet! It is absolutely essential that all visitors (both children and accompanying grown-ups) come with the right clothing, meaning lots of layers, waterproofs and sturdy footwear (and in the warmer months sun hats and sun cream) as well as a "can do" and "up for it" attitude to maximising the outdoor experiences for all, especially the children. |

What a magical experience for both the children and adults! Father Christmas was the best I've ever seen, he was so calm, kind and gentle which meant my 18 month old wasn't scared. The older boys loved chatting to him and running around the woods. Loved the mulled wine and hot chocolate and the relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait till next year!

What a wonderful experience! A really lovely setting to meet Santa. The children (and adults) had a great time! We didn't feel rushed at all, which it can feel at other places and there were lots of opportunities for photos with Santa. Thank you! We can't wait to come again next Christmas.

We had a wonderful time today meeting Father Christmas at Woodland Adventurers in Box. Our daughter (3 years) absolutely loved Santa's Elves, and her lovely book, kindly given to her by Father Christmas. For us as adults we loved the simplicity of the set up. It felt very calm, well organised, not over the top, but equally realistic and magical. We felt the ticket price was great value for money. For one the adults are not charged, but are kindly offered mulled wine and a mince pie, the book our daughter was given was lovely quality and she was over the moon with her hot chocolate pouch that the elves gave her. With regards to Father Christmas, he was very well dressed in a clean coat and beard etc! He was lovely with the children and very appropriate. My only concern is that Woodland Adventures will become so popular as a venue to see Father Christmas that it will become impossible to book tickets next year. Well done to all concerned. Thank you.

What a wonderful time we had when we met Father Christmas and his Elves. As always, everything was very well organised and we enjoyed sitting and chatting to Father Christmas. A relaxed environment with no rush to move on. Excellent warm punch and mince pies for the adults and hot chocolate and gingerbread men for the children -yummy! We love visiting you and hope Father Christmas will be back next year as we would love to come and see him again. Well done everyone and Merry Christmas to you all.
